Appointment of Lead Coach and Yard Manager at WSPC

The Board of Trustees of the Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre are delighted to announce the appointment of Ailbhe McCormack in the role of Lead Coach and Yard Manager.

Ailbhe brings a wealth of expertise, having worked at a number of RDA stables in the local area and she is an extremely well-qualified equestrian and instructor having achieved BHS Stage 4 in a number of areas.


Ailbhe first became part of the WSPC family at the tender age of 2 and has continued her relationship with the WSPC up to the present day. She has a genuine commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment that aligns seamlessly with the WSPC’s mission.


The Board is confident that Ailbhe will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of our riding programmes and contributing to the well-being and enjoyment of our participants.


Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre CEO, Sister Mary-Joy Langdon, commented

“We are delighted that Ailbhe has accepted the role of lead coach at the WSPC and I know that she will add tremendous value to our coaching programme.” 


Ailbhe added , "I’m passionate about continuous improvement in equine care, training, and performance and I can’t wait to put my knowledge and experience into practice in my new role”.


We are anticipating Ailbhe taking up her new role around the beginning of April 2024.
