Bee is for beautiful! Her long flowing mane and tail gives her endless amounts of attention. Bee is quite happy at a more relaxed pace, but once she gets going she is a real Black Beauty.

Marvellous Marcel. He can turn his hoof to anything. He can be an absolute dote on the lead rein, and step it up a gear for those learning to canter. Mr Reliable!

Darling Morgan can be shy, and can also be a bit shy of a hairbursh at times. He is a young horse but mature for his years. Though he is still learning himself, he helps all the children and young people learn along with him.

Séamus is a little more timid than Ruairí, but always first in line for a sneaky snack.

Willow is a beautiful traditional coloured cob and a truly treasured member of our team. Affectionately known as our lovely little old lady, she has the most wonderful, gentle nature and a heart of gold.

After returning to her ridden career following some time off, Willow has become a firm favourite with everyone who has the pleasure of knowing her. She is particularly wonderful with children, showing endless patience, kindness and understanding.

Her calm, reassuring presence and affectionate personality make her an incredibly special pony, helping our younger riders feel safe, comfortable and confident around horses.

Willow is a perfect example of how much a kind and gentle pony can mean to a child. She is adored by our riders, staff and volunteers alike, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have such a beautiful soul as part of our team.

Blue is a gorgeous little cob with a big personality and an even bigger heart. A bright, intelligent and inquisitive pony, he is full of character and has a wonderfully affectionate nature that makes him a very special member of our team.

Despite his cheeky and sometimes mischievous side, Blue is a sensitive little soul who thrives on kindness, patience and understanding. He is incredibly clever, quick to learn and always keeps us on our toes with his curious personality.

One of Blue’s most endearing qualities is his love for children. He has a wonderfully gentle and caring side and enjoys the attention and affection he receives from our younger riders. His sweet nature and willingness to build trusting relationships make him a lovely pony to have around.

Blue is a fantastic little character with so much to offer. His combination of intelligence, sensitivity and affection makes him a truly rewarding pony to work with, and he continues to grow in confidence and ability.

With his adorable personality and loving nature, Blue is a much-loved member of our team who never fails to put a smile on our faces.

🐴 Meet Crystal
Crystal is our Blagdon Cob. Standing at 15hh, she’s a beautiful young mare with plenty of growing and learning ahead of her. We look forward to sharing more of her journey and helping you get to know her! 💕

Miss Piggy is an icon! Miss Piggy gives so much, and has quite the fan club, but of course she does, she is fabulous!

Orlando, handsome, charming, and the most gentle nature. Orlando is very sweet-natured, and generous of spirit. His quiet and reassuring energy carries to all those he meets.

Raboliot was our premier Camargue. He hacked (with a team) from the Camargue to London in Summer 2010, and the Pony Centre has been his home ever since. Raboliot knows his job well, and he also knows all the tricks! He has a great sense of humour.

Sparky is a beautiful Welsh Section C with exceptional breeding, fantastic movement and all the character you would expect from a true Welsh pony!

Full of personality, Sparky is a forward-thinking, enthusiastic pony who absolutely loves her work, particularly when it involves jumping. Her natural ability, lovely movement and energetic attitude make her a talented and enjoyable pony to ride.

Although she certainly has the typical Welsh spirit and isn’t afraid to show off her fiery side, Sparky also has a wonderfully sensible nature when it matters most. She knows when to channel her enthusiasm and settle into her work, showing just how versatile and intelligent she really is.

Away from her energetic side, Sparky has a softer, affectionate personality and loves a bit of attention. Her combination of talent, character and willingness makes her a very special member of our team.

Sparky really is a little pony with a big personality and plenty of ability to match!

We also have a triad of piebald cats, the boss being Ace who will make himself known to you as he is a very esteemed gourmet and food critic.

Gizmo is the smallest pony on the yard. She has the biggest personality and the fluffiest coat ever!

Monty is one of the cheekiest boys on the yard. He's quite a vocal chap and you can often hear him calling to his friends.

Ruairí is often the instigator of the Donkey Zoomies!

Vectrix is a truly exceptional pony and one of the leading members of our RDA team. A real gentleman in every sense, he has a wonderfully kind, patient and willing nature, making him an invaluable part of our riding programme.

Often described as more like a puppy than a horse, Vectrix has a playful personality and a cheeky streak that makes him even more lovable. He takes his role within RDA in his stride, showing remarkable patience, understanding and a genuine willingness to please.

His calm temperament, reliability and gentle character make him a fantastic partner for our riders, helping them develop confidence, independence and enjoyment in the saddle.

Vectrix really is one in a million, and we are incredibly lucky to have such a special pony as part of our team. He is a firm favourite with riders, volunteers and staff alike.
