Get Involved
There are many ways you can get involved with the Pony Centre: By donating, taking lessons, volunteering and becoming part of the team.
By supporting us you will help achieve the goal to help unite disabled and local children with horses and ponies and through this have them develop hopes, aspirations and life goals. As a small charity (No. 1045045) we almost solely rely on your generous contributions, which have made a difference to thousands of children over the years.
We want to be as transparent as possible so this is what your contribution will mean:
To look after 1 Pony it can cost up to £ 2,000/ year.
Food: £550
Stable Bedding: £550
Vet Bills: £350
Farrier: £350
Dentist Bills: £125
Tack & Rugs: £75
Additionally the stable costs and maintenance fees that cover
rent, utilities, insurance, staff costs and extras
are the most expensive and where donations are really needed!
Every contribution and if it is just £5 will be so valuable in helping the children and the horses.

Volunteering
Give a helping hand by becoming a volunteer.
Volunteering activities can involve anything from grooming a horse, baking a cake for our Horse Shoe café, helping out with the gardening and tidying up of the paddocks and general yard & stable work.
Volunteers can receive training to become qualified coaches including training to help with the RDA classes.
Of course we welcome every helping hand and there is much work to be done in the admin domain or other activities. So even if you cannot help physically - you can get involved.
