The Lucian Freud Equine Art Competition will be celebrating 35 years of equine art at the Wormwood Scrubs Pony centre.
Artists of all ages are invited to take part in this special competition.
Produce a piece of equestrian art and you may be the winner of a Lucian Freud trophy.
This competition is part of the WSPC 35th Anniversary celebrations.

Class [a] Artist 11 years & under
Class [b] Artist 18 years & under
Class [c] Artist 25 years & under
Class [d] Adult Artist 26 years & over
Class [e] A scene showing the life of the Pony Centre
Artist may enter more than one piece of work. All art work must be original and must be of an equine [horse] theme.
Art work must be correctly presented on a suitable easel. Art work can be framed. Art work must have the artist’s name and class clearly printed on the back.
Entries must arrive at the Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre no later than 12pm Thursday 28th March 2024
All art work will be exhibited at WSPC on Sunday 14th April 2024 when the results will be announced. Winners will receive a Lucian Freud Equine Trophy All entries will receive a Lucian Freud Equestrian Art certificate. Art work entered into the competition will be auctioned in aid of the Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre charity.
